A touch of Paradise

I mentioned on the last blog that we were spending our last couple of days in luxury at the Hilton Hawaiian village. Also not a bad way to spend our 9 year anniversary which we have reached today!! I managed to get Kris to agree to this with some persuasion and help from Rob and Deb and I am glad to say the hotel hasn't let me down.

I had booked the cheapest room available a few weeks ago but that didn't stop me chancing my luck when we got to the check in desk and ask for an upgraded room. Luck was on our side as the lovely receptionist proceeded to act out a little scene for us filling us in that we were on honeymoon and very angry with the hotel as we had already moved hotels twice and were promised early check in but when we got here it wasn't available and she was really rude to us which resulted in her giving us the last ocean view room in the Rainbow tower right on the beachfront, I'll let the photos say the rest.

Needless to say this has been the best hotel we have stayed in yet. Hotel Scott and Nancy and Hotel Ross and Laura you have a lot to live up to ;-)

So we have spent our last couple of days soaking up the Hawaiian sun before flying east to Winter but getting to meet little Sam in less than 12 hours will be our silver lining!!
