Happy 2012!

Happy New Year to all our friends and family! It has been exactly a year since starting this blog with the aim of documenting our round the world adventure so everyone could see where we were and what we were up too. How quickly 2011 came and went and we are now in the last few weeks of our journey!

We spent our New Year with Ross and Laura having a Mexican fiesta followed up with an evening of poker before watching the ball drop on the TV. After taking down all the Xmas decorations the reality of heading home is starting to set in and we have now booked our flights home for mid February!

The older kids are back in school so Laura took the younger 2 to the local nature centre for some interactive fun with a rather odd lady who took a liking to Kris! Abby and Henry loved seeing the animals and joining in the group session.
