Chattanooga Lookout Mountain

Heading a few hours east of Memphis we arrived in Chattanooga a recommendation from Laura to see. The city sits at the base of Lookout Mountain which have two big sites Rock City and the Ruby Falls.

We went to Rock City first and had a great 1 1/2 hour walk around lookout points of the mountain including squeezing through needle point, walking along a suspension bridge and walking through a fairy tale cavern.

Next stop was Ruby Falls where you get a lift 26 stories down into the mountain rock where you walk 1/2 mile through caves seeing stalactites and stalagmites along the way until you reach Ruby Falls a 145ft waterfall deep within the mountain.
