So after packing our rucksacks yesterday and psyching ourselves up we have been deflated today with the news that one of the vaccinations we had 2 months ago has been recalled from the manufacturers as it is not effective.
After many phone calls the bottom line is we need to be revaccinated with 2 doses of this injection a week apart. So after much negotiating and organising we have moved our flight out by a week and as you can see from the countdown clock we have 8 days to go leaving on the 6th June.
and just when we thought our days of injections were over...

omg....what a bummer for you, at least it means another week of partying. I still won't be around when you leave as will be in Edinburgh :-(( but hope everything goes ok and if this is the worst that happens then you are going to have a ball..Lots of love x

Oh hun, thats rubbish! I just logged on to see if you had arrived safe and sound... oh well, one week is nothing in comparison to 7 months. Plus im guessing its best to have 7 healthy months and not get struck down by the next fashionable disease. im thinking if they can get you with salad, they can get you with anything! safe journey on Monday. Hi Everyone, I spoke with Em & Kris earlier today and wanted to say hi. They are having a great time, despite long grueling train journeys. In China they cannot access their blog or FB, so they will update when they get to Vietnam in a week or so. They are living the dream!
