Home and Away

Not wanting to be biased towards Ramsay Street, we thought it was only fair to check out the competition in Sydney by visitng the Home and Away set at Palm Beach.

Rob took us on the scenic 45 minute journey north of Sydney stopping first at the diner and then onto the beach. We wandered along the famous beach towards the surf club, as we got to the club we were in luck as they were filming. Now I haven't watched Home and Away in a while but Rob (who apparently does not watch it either) managed to fill us in on which actor was who.

For you Home and Away fans (I'm guessing Mandy and Sarah) we were watching a scene between Romeo and Liam, in fact we watched the scene over and over again from many different angles. Kris and I even managed to wander pass in the background as they were doing their scene so you never know they might want a different kind of beach bum extras to show!

After hanging around some more, they broke for lunch and we managed to have a chat with them that Rob caught on video and got a couple of photos.

Overall it was a great trip and made it a tough call on the Aussie soap competition. I think Home and Away may have taken the edge as not only did we get to meet 2 cast members, the price was right at zero.

Its now over to Haiwaii, Vancouver and the Ashburn to top our celebrity spotting spree!!
