Kris Elephant Trekking

One excursion Kris was really interested in was elephant trekking and off he went as you can see from the photos. He did a half hour trek with an elephant and even was allowed to go solo when the owner jumped off and let Kris scooch down to the elephants neck and steer it by pushing his feet on the back of its ears.

Kris did have a slightly disobedient elephant who chose to wander his own course and often got dragged back. At the end he got to meet the baby elephants who played the harmonica, did roly-polys and stood on their back legs.
